New brand for Rosebery Housing

It’s now more than 17 months since Rosebery Housing Association merged with Town & Country Housing (TCH). During that time there’s been a huge amount of work taking place to create a stronger, more robust organisation that brings together the best from both areas of the business.

Since the merger we are on course to double the number of repairs operatives working at Rosebery Repairs, which means repairs can be carried out more efficiently and reduces the need for external sub-contractors.

We’ve also started a two-year programme of external planned maintenance work to Rosebery properties. This year more than 1,000 homes will benefit from an overhaul which includes external painting and decorating and can extend to new roofs and windows. The exteriors of all residents’ homes will have been assessed by March 2026, and will then enter an eight-year rolling programme of planned work.

Alongside this we’re carrying out a stock condition survey of all Rosebery residents’ homes. This will allow us to sustainably plan future investment in properties, covering areas such as kitchens and bathrooms.

The same local  service, but with a new name

When we merged we knew that residents might be concerned about the loss of local services, and so we made sure to continue using the Rosebery Housing name and brand identity.

Now we’ve shown that the local approach is continuing we feel it’s the right time for Rosebery to take on the Town & Country Housing name and brand.

At the point of merger TCH became the legal landlord for all Rosebery residents, and the TCH brand is starting to be seen more often by Rosebery residents. TCH has even built its first new homes in the area, with 10 homes completed in Mid Sussex.

And while our staff are all very much now TCH employees, as far as people outside of the organisation are concerned they’re still seen as working for Rosebery.

To reduce this confusion for residents and staff Rosebery Housing will, as of Wednesday 25 September, be using the Town & Country Housing name and brand.

What this means

Not everything will change overnight. We’re yet to merge our computer systems so we’ll continue to use Rosebery email addresses – don’t be alarmed if you see an email from @rosebery.org.uk.

Similarly, the My Rosebery customer portal will continue to look and run just as it always has. The repairs service will still use Rosebery Repair vans, but any new vehicles will be branded as TCH.

You will also still be able to call us on the same phone numbers. While staff at the Epsom office will answer the phone as TCH, you will be speaking with the same people offering the same service.

The main change is to our website, which will be redirected to the TCH website – www.tch.org.uk  – from 25 September. The TCH site will be expanded to include specific information that you may need, for example how to report a repair, details on rent payment and contact details.

We’re here for you

We hope that you can understand the reason behind the changes and are reassured that you will receive the same, local service that you are used to. If you have any questions about the changes, please do send an email to customerexperience@rosebery.org.uk or call 01372 814 000.
