Housing for Older People

Housing for Older People (HFOP) is for people over 55 who still want to lead active, independent lives. We own three schemes in Epsom that provide self-contained flats, so residents have their own kitchens and bathrooms. We provide cookers and fridges and all apartments are carpeted. Each scheme have communal areas such as laundries and lounges. There are also rooms where guests can stay for a small charge.

When new residents move in, they will discuss the support they need with our partner Cherchefelle Housing Association. The level of support can be changed at any time. There's an alarm system and someone will be on call to to speak 24 hours a day, everyday of the year, should someone need it.

We also have four 'designated elderly' schemes available for people over 55. Homes are either bungalows or one bedroom apartments. Some have community alarms installed and residents can ask Cherchefelle for more support if they need it.
